Our client seeks a BE/BC Pediatrician to meet the needs of a fast-growing medical community. This is a stable practice that is committed to supporting the new physician so they can be assured of a balanced lifestyle. The need for a permanent pediatrician is driven by the recent addition of two OB/GYNs, that have increased the volume and acuity of newborns served in the city. Additionally, a recent physician manpower study indicates a significant need for a full-time pediatrician.
Position
4-day workweek
Office hours 8-5; the group offers evening and Saturday hours which the pediatrician can complement
Call frequency is optional and mostly by phone from home
Full time emergency physicians and hospitalists provide excellent back up coverage
