The new physician will have the option of taking as much or little call as desired, sharing call via teleradiology with a group in Tucson and/or the NightHawk program.
VOLUME
34,000 total studies, including 19,000 X-ray, 7,000 CTs, 3,500 ultrasounds, 2,500 mammograms, 1,900 MRIs, and 750 nuclear medicine studies.
PAYER MIX
Medicare 40%, Medicaid 20%, Commercial/Private Pay 40%.
COMPENSATION
The new physician can choose to be employed by the hospital or remain an independent contractor. The hospital is offering base compensation of $450,000. Total professional income currently exceeds $900,000 for radiology services. Full benefits include health/life/disability insurance, malpractice, CME, vacation/holiday pay, retirement plan, and relocation.
