| Work in one of the largest cardiology practices in the Midwest with the relaxed atmosphere of a 4-person group
Join a 60-member, single specialty group that includes seven cardiac and two vascular surgeons. The group is very active in clinical research and utilizes Meta 2 guidelines.
They seek a non-interventional cardiologist to work at its Ames location, which is very close to Des Moines. The group currently serves a regional population of 150,000 in central Iowa with three cardiologists. There is little competition offered by smaller programs in the area. The market is expected to continue growing quickly, due to the aging population, and there is low managed care penetration.
The heart center houses a full range of diagnostic services, including TEE, diagnostic catheterization, echo and nuclear cardiography.
Position Information:
Compensation: $300,000 salary, plus $25,000 sign-on bonus
Employee; partnership is available after two years
Call will be 1 in 4 (this is mostly phone consults)
