Use and maintain simple and complex diagnostic tools and equipment (i.e. stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, cardiac monitor, digital readout, homodynamic monitoring systems, infusion pumps, central venous lines, respiratory ventilator) to obtain and/or validate observations and provide for the care of the critically ill patients. Recognize and respond to serious alterations in patients conditions, determine appropriate actions to include notification of the RN/MD, airway management and initiation of CPR.
Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited school. Current active license in good standing within the 50 states. BCLS. 1 year of experience within the last 3 caring for patients in an ambulatory care setting. |
