Provide clinical leadership to an inpatient nursing unit. Opportunities available in several specialty areas, including med/surg, telemetry, Progressive Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit. Responsible for clinical management of the unit.
Demonstrates effective delegation, organization, communication, and problem resolution skills. Assists with staff selection/orientation/staff performance evaluation. Coaches, counsels, disciplines staff. Develops/maintains effective relationships with coworkers, MDs, patients and families.
Must be RN licensed/eligible in Virginia. Must have at least 5 yrs of current clinical experience and demonstrated leadership skills. Prefer previous experience as a Clinical Coordinator or equivalent.
Reports to: Director of Nursing
Shift: various; 40hrs/week; varied on call hours
Salary: based on experience
Relocation level: negotiable
