This hospital located in Southwest Houston is a comprehensive JCAHO-accredited medical facility. As the city's largest and most sophisticated suburban hospital, it has been serving the community since 1977. A recent $50million expansion resulted in the opening in 1995 of a new pavilion dedicated to radiologic testing, surgery services, and women's services, including facilities for antepartum testing, labor and delivery, and a breast center. The pavilion also includes an expansive health and wellness room and outpatient physical therapy department.
Family or Adult NP needed to assist with Observation unit and inpatient service at this hospital. Must be able to assess, write orders, discharge patients, etc. as needed. Will be working with two internists and other NP's to manage service.
Master's degree in Nursing with certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center in area of intended practice. Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing. Certified in Basic Life Support; current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains certification within three months of hire. Three years clinical nursing experience in area of intended practice; two years experience in an Advanced Practice role.
