Charge Nurse is responsible for the direct/indirect total nursing care of assigned patients and supervision of assigned personnel. Must have intimate knowledge of dept. & hospital policy/procedures re nursing, interpretive skills, interactive/consult skills.
Management/supervisory skills are utilized daily. Must retrieve. Communicate and present info in written, auditory, and visuals methods.
Prefer: BSN or working towards degree; OB specialty certification; min. of 1yr RN experience in acute care L&D, Neonatal resuscitation certification; cardiac arrhy. preferred.
Required: active FL RN license, BLS, recent fetal heart monitor certification with score at least 75%.
Reports to: L&D Clinical Coordinator
Shift: nites; 7p-7a; on call hours- 7p-7a
Relocation level: negotiable
Differential: $2.50 eve/$5 nites/ $3 WE
