This hospital is a 265-bed acute care facility. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is a member of numerous local, state and national health professional organizations. With 400 physicians on its medical staff representing over 30 medical specialties, this facility offers a full array of medical services including a 24-hour emergency department, ICU/CCU, maternity, neonatal intensive care unit, medical and surgical departments, comprehensive cancer center, heart center, same day surgery, transitional care unit, Acute Rehab Unit, and senior behavioral health.
The Registered Nurse cares for post-oncological surgery patients including, but not limited to prostatectomy, mastectomy, colon resection, lung resection, ovarian cancer debulking.
The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge of cancer disease processes. Reviews MD orders and accurately transcribes to MAR. Plans and provides services appropriate to the age and level of care required by patient population.
Graduate from an accredited schoolof Nursing, BSN desired. Current CA RN License, CPR certified.
Reports to the Clinical Manager
Shift: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
