Nursent is seeking a Nurse Recruiter to recruit nurses (R.N.’s) for direct-hire positions in hospitals throughout the U.S. We are not a nurse registry or travel nursing company - we recruit full-time nurses for our client facilities. The Nurse Recruiter proactively represents Nursent to the nursing community focusing on those seeking new positions. Duties: Recruit R.N.’s using all available methods including: Nursent conferences, classified advertising, visiting on-line communities, internet resume searches, e-mail marketing, industry shows & conventions, association meetings, events, word-of-mouth campaigns, etc.
Establish and maintain relationships with qualified nurses via phone and e-mail, providing relevant information. Provide out-of-area nurses with additional information regarding certification, testing, and licensure.
Monitor and guide all active nurses through the recruitment process. This includes responding to nurses preparing for the NCLEX exam, responding to licensure requirements, motivating and assisting as necessary through successful placement. Work with facilities to ensure compliance with their responsibilities to accomplish this end.
Establish and maintain relationships with nursing schools, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other facilities that can refer nurses for placement.
As appropriate, market nurses to facilities including hospitals, clinics, and skilled nursing facilities, exploring their needs and interest in hiring our nurses. Gather pertinent contact and needs information.
Requirements: Ideal candidate will have extensive experience screening, interviewing, hiring, and evaluating RN’s. preferably in a staffing environment.
A minimum of two years recruiting experience and a college degree preferred. Strong written and verbal communications skills are crucial, as you will be communicating with medical, HR, and management personnel throughout the U.S. You also need very strong computer skills including MS Office suite, internet, and recruitment databases.
The best fit for this job would be someone with the above skills, interest in nursing and commitment to recruitment as means to improving the quality of health care. Compensation depends on experience and involves salary plus commission.
