This highly reputable facility is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for its busy ER department. Responsibilities include:
v Supervises and completes triage assignments of adult, geriatric, adolescent and pediatric patients prior to registration.
v Assists other nursing staff in the assessment of patients with new, unfamiliar, or not commonly seen conditions.
v Accurately obtains and records pertinent medical history and assesses patients according to the patient's data base and established standards of care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
v Recognizes and reports suspected abuse of patient presenting to the Emergency Department.
v Consistently and accurately identifies patient problems and plans appropriate course of action using established standards of care for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
v Identifies life threatening situations and initiates appropriate interventions and performs effectively in ""Code Blue"" procedures.
RN or BSN degree; California RN license or license eligible; BLS (ACLS preferred)
Base Pay: $30.00-$41.00/Hr
Relocation level: $2500
