Biomedical Enginner III
POSITION SUMMARY: Eagle Systems is seeking resumes for full-time Biomedical Engineer III to work on USAMMA/NMP projects at the following location:
Fort Detrick, MD
SCOPE: Uses traditional engineering expertise to analyze and solve problems regarding the design, development, and safety testing of biomedical equipment. Serves as the principal action officer for maintenance related acquisition support, fielding, and sustainment of medical laboratory equipment, contact patient monitoring systems, and digital imaging/radiographic equipment.
Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing.
Experienced in research and regulation
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Data entry and computer software experience.
Professional experience in dealing with clients and/or customer service.
Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
Proficient in preparing special or periodic reports, records, documents and correspondence.
Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances in compliance with government regulations and requirements.
Familiar with the biomedical maintenance field and its concepts, practices, and procedures.
Familiar with U.S. Army acronyms.
Bachelors degree in area of specialty
Minimum of four years directly related experience in the biomedical field.
Ability to obtain and maintain an applicable security clearance.
Advanced degree in area of specialty.
More than seven years of directly related experience.
Technical certifications relating to position requirements.
Proven technical writing skills.
