POSITION: Logistics Analyst IV
POSITION SUMMARY: Eagle Systems is seeking resumes for a full-time Logistics Analyst IV to work on the USAMMA ACP/ARFORGEN project at Ft. Lewis, WA and Ft. Detrick, MD. The Logistics Analyst IV enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect military operations, production, distribution, and inventory. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Creates, edits, and maintains documentation for automated tools and processes used to support the project.
May lead and direct the work of others.
Analyzes military plans and orders to extract logistical support requirements.
Assists in the preparation of portions of military orders or plans in accordance with higher level headquarters instructions.
Performs other duties as required by the supervisor.
Ability and willingness to conform to established standards and templates.
Ability to coordinate and maximize scarce resources.
Ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly.
Ability to use MS Office products.
Ability to work independently. Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
Ability to coordinate task accomplishment with other project team members.
Ability to perform checks of others work to ascertain compliance with policy/regulation and to
maintain quality of work effort.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and evaluate available data and implement a feasible
course of action.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must be Detail oriented.
Client relations and customer service skills.
Knowledge of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software.
Ability to learn and comprehend the Military Decision making and operational plans and orders process.
Ability to rapidly learn and master automated logistics and other software applications as related to the job.
Associates degree or equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
Minimum four years of experience in a medical logistics related field.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances.
Ability to obtain and maintain a drivers license.
Experience with military medical logistics.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL OR WORK CONDITIONS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
