USAMMA Sr. Program Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. PM will manage all Task Orders and/or Task Order Leads in support of the companys USAMMA/AMEDD contracts. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of assigned project(s) to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the effort are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitations, and funding constraints. Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in management skills and current state-of-the-art developments in the management field. Duties will include, but not limited to managing projects from a distance, providing program oversight for quality control, fostering business relationships in pursuit of new business, participating in the proposal development process, and providing input to the corporate strategic development process. Must possess knowledge of and experience with the principles, techniques, and practices in management of highly skilled technical personnel, the ability to apply professional principals, the ability to make decisions based on technical, economic, and business considerations, the capability to provide professional guidance and leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in an area related to contractual requirements.
Five years experience in Army medical services, logistics or maintenance field.
Minimum of three years successful experience in managing personnel.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to secure a secret security clearance.
Ability to obtain a drivers license.
Ability to travel.
Ability to manage multiple projects in multiple locations.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and evaluate available data and implement a feasible course of action.
Ability to originate, develop, and implement innovative concepts.
Ability to effectively manage time, labor hours, and other resources to ensure schedules and budget are met.
Attention to detail.
Ability to interpret government regulations.
Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and Internet software.
Masters degree in business related field.
Minimum five years experience with federal government contracting procedures.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL OR WORK CONDITIONS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
