The OR RN shall perform duties assigned; services include, but are not limited to the following. Serve as team member on assigned shifts and be responsible for direct patient care and technical supervision of operating room technicians. Coordinate with interdisciplinary personnel for additional patient care activities. Use and instruct others in the use of simple and specialized equipment appropriate to the clinical area.
Administer simple and complex medications via oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, topical, rectal, respiratory and intravenous routes, administer blood as ordered and make interdisciplinary referrals.
Location: Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii.
Qualifications (key items): Must possess a minimum of 3 years of operating room nursing experience within the last five years. Must have current unrestricted RN license from 1 of the 50 states. Updated BLS certification.
