A prestigious independent not-for-profit community health center serving the health care needs of residents of Northern Manhattan for more than 30 years is seeking a Staff Geriatrician, who will assume the role to help maintain a high quality medical program and ensure adequate and appropriate care is provided to all patients. This Physician would report to the Medical Director.
·See geriatric patients
·Coordinate with other physicians to ensure continuity of care.
·Telephone triage once per month
Qualifications
·MD from an accredited medical school with at least two years’ experience
·Current license to practice medicine in New York State.
·Demonstrated verbal communications skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
·Strong administrative as well as clinical skills.
·Board Certified in Gerontology
