A prestigious independent not-for-profit community health center serving the health care needs of residents of Northern Manhattan for more than 30 years, is seeking a Staff Internist.
The Staff Internist is responsible for helping to maintain a high quality medical program and ensure adequate and appropriate care is provided to all patients. Reports to the Medical Director.
·See adult and geriatric patients, as well as adolescents
·coordinate with other physicians to ensure continuity of care.
·Telephone triage once per month
Qualifications
·MD from an accredited medical school with at least two years’ experience
·Current license to practice medicine in New York State.
·Demonstrated verbal communications skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
·Strong administrative as well as clinical skills.
·Board Certified in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice
