Nurse Practitioner
Nurse Practitioner CODE / AR0120NP Radiology Field Job Description: Includes but not limited to: History and physicals on inpatients/outpatients that are having Radiology and CathLab procedures. Discharge Summaries, Pre-op and Post-op rounds on patients, Run an interventional clinic (manage and organize paper work), Telephone/Personal counseling of patients, Fluoroscopy at the hospital and imaging center, Procedures such as line placements (PIC line, central lines, etc.), Lumbar punctures, Minor ultrasound and CT guided procedures. Assist in organizing for conferences such as cancer conferences and may attend them along with the radiologist (if possible) Salary Range: $80 - $100K (negotiable based on experience) Vacation: 2 – 4 weeks to start, which may be increased over time Currently, this is a position that requires no call, weekends or nights, which may be re-negotiated with other terms of employment. MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION: Group Size (ARA): 8 FTE Radiologist Group Structure: Chairperson, Medical Director Requirements: PA or NP with Radiology experience (specifically Interventional Radiology experience or background) Sign On Bonus: (negotiable) Relocation Allotment: (negotiable) Benefits: Yes, standard (medical, vacation, retirement), flexible This is a new position with the group – open ground for challenge and boundaries. Assist in new policies/procedures for the group. Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska, completion of approved NP program with a Master degree in Med-Surg nursing, current certification as a NP in the State of Alaska. Two or more years experience as a Nurse Practitioner; Excellent communication skills, Excellent interpersonal relation and leadership skills, This position is 40 hours/week, M-F, day.
