Description: Routine management of acutely ill patients. Ability to independently manage nursing care of hemodynamically unstable patient who is on multiple IV meds; experience with ventilator management/ABG. Solid EKG recognition skills, temporary pacemakers, pulmonary artery catheter, arterial pressure lines, post cardiac cath/stent recovery with sheath removal. Orientation time dependent on skill level. Routine management of acutely ill patients. Ability to independently manage nursing care of hemodynamically unstable patient who is on multiple IV meds; experience with ventilator management/ABG. Requirements: Must have active TX RN license; BLS/ACLS required; TNCC preferred. Minimum 2 yrs critical care experience in high acuity ICU/CCU in an acute care facility. Must have excellent prioritization and communication skills/self motivated. Reports to: Critical Care Manager Shift: 7p-7a; 72hr/pp; as needed 2-4 weekend shift/30-day schedule. New hires must work 2-3 winter holidays. Salary: $21.68-$27.83/hr Relocation level: $5000 Differential: $3.00 nites Short staffing bonus $6 on top of OT when additional shiftwork done on short notice.
