Facility Description:
This facility is staffed by 750 physicians and 825 healthcare professionals. It has received ""Accreditation With Full Standards Compliance"" by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations for the past six years.
This hospital offers comprehensive inpatient and ambulatory medical and surgical services, including emergency service, critical care, comphrehensive medical and surgical cardiac care, neurosurgery, orthopaedic and sports medicine, oncology, complete diagnostic services, rehabilitative services and community health screenings.
Job Description:
Provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, managing and evaluation the care and service provided by the critical care department.
Participates in the quality improvement program. Participates in ongoing preparation and maintenance of department activities for all regulatory agency compliance (JCAHO, OSHA, AHCA).
Reports to CNO
Hours: 80/pp; day shift
Qualifications:
Required valid FL RN license; Associates degree, Bachelors degree preferred; 3-5 years management experience; 2 years charge nurse CCU experience.
