Facility Description: This hospital is a 265-bed acute care facility. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is a member of numerous local, state and national health professional organizations. With 400 physicians on its medical staff representing over 30 medical specialties, this facility offers a full array of medical services including a 24-hour emergency department, ICU/CCU, maternity, neonatal intensive care unit, medical and surgical departments, comprehensive cancer center, heart center, same day surgery, transitional care unit, Acute Rehab Unit, and senior behavioral health. Job Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the CA Nursing Practice Act, MD's orders and policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a thorough knowledge of work practices/responsibilities. Develops, updates and implements an interdisciplinary age-specific Plan of Care utilizing all available relevant patient data and changes in condition. Requirements: Graduate from an accredited schoolof Nursing, BSN desired. Current CA RN License, CPR and ACLS. Reports to the Clinical Manager Shift: 7a-7p or 7p-7a Hours: 80/pp Salary Scale: A candidate can opt not to take benefits and increase the hourly wage, or opt to take the benefits for a more modest hourly wage (when eligible for benefit). Differential rates are offered at $4 nite shift. There is a $10,000 sign on bonus available to either experienced RNs or to New Grads. It is NOT available to international RNs or to Interim Permit RNs. It is paid out in 3 increments over an 18 month period.
