General Responsibility:
The Department Director manages the day to day function of his/her department and maintains a 24-hour accountability for its function, productivity and quality. The Department Director initiates and ensures the maintenance of performance improvement, departmental customer satisfaction and staff competency, physician and staff satisfaction.
Requirements:
Current AL RN license and in good standing with the AL Board of Nursing; at least 5 years nursing experience; BSN, MSN preferred; excellent oral and communication skills required.
